Restricted Territories

This page explains where GAMB·8's tools are available, which jurisdictions are restricted for regulatory or sanctions reasons, and how to check whether a specific feature is permitted in your country. It works alongside the country-by-country Gambling Legality Reference, which is the authoritative source for the legal status of gambling in each jurisdiction.

1. General Rule

GAMB·8 does not take deposits, operate games of chance, or hold customer gambling funds (see Terms §3). Our tools are primarily informational — calculators, analytics, trackers, comparison pages, and editorial content.

You are responsible for confirming that using GAMB·8 and any third-party services we link to is legal in your country, state, or territory. Where a jurisdiction requires a specific disclosure, age verification, or self-exclusion framework, we either block the feature locally or route the relevant link through an operator that holds a matching licence.

2. Sanctions & Blocked Jurisdictions

GAMB·8 complies with applicable economic sanctions. We do not knowingly provide paid access or affiliate referrals to users located in jurisdictions subject to comprehensive sanctions under US OFAC, UK HMT, or EU sanctions regimes, including:

  • Cuba
  • Iran
  • North Korea (DPRK)
  • Syria
  • Russia-occupied regions of Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk People's Republic, Luhansk People's Republic, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia)

The sanctioned list above is maintained as of the "Last updated" date. Check the current US OFAC list, UK sanctions regime list, or the EU sanctions map for the live picture.

3. Gambling-Restricted Jurisdictions

Many jurisdictions restrict or ban online gambling entirely. In those jurisdictions, our affiliate links to gambling operators are either suppressed or redirected to the legality-reference page, and features that presume access to a real-money gambling account (e.g. real-money bot overlay, live balance tracking) are disabled.

Examples of jurisdictions with material online-gambling restrictions include mainland China, Singapore, the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Brunei, and several US states. The Gambling Legality Reference contains the country-by-country breakdown, with sourced last-verified dates.

4. United States — State-Level Notes

Online gambling legality in the US varies by state. Sports-betting, casino, and poker access is legal only in states with specific licences. We do not attempt to be a comprehensive legal-advice source on US state law — use the state regulator website linked from the Gambling Legality Reference page.

GAMB·8's analytical tools themselves (calculators, trackers, educational content) remain available in all US states. Affiliate referrals to regulated US operators are shown only in states where the destination operator is licensed.

5. Feature-Level Restrictions

  • Real-money affiliate links — geo-suppressed for jurisdictions listed in Sections 2–3. Where the destination operator holds a regional licence, the referral uses the appropriate regional URL.
  • Paid subscriptions — available everywhere we can take payment through Stripe or an accepted crypto rail, subject to Section 2.
  • Desktop bot overlay / real-money automation — user-driven tooling. We make no representation that automating bets on a specific operator is permitted by that operator or legal in your jurisdiction; read the operator's terms first.
  • Truth Engine / editorial content — available worldwide.
  • Minors (under 18) — blocked everywhere. Age-verification gates protect features that handle real-money history or gambling-adjacent analytics.

6. How We Enforce

We use approximate geo-IP lookup via our edge CDN to determine a user's country and apply feature-level restrictions. Geo-IP is not perfect; it can be defeated with VPNs and proxies. Circumventing geo-restrictions breaches these Terms and may violate local law. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that repeatedly appear to be routing around sanctions or gambling-legality blocks.

7. Updates

This page is reviewed when a sanctions list changes, when a major jurisdiction opens or closes a regulated-gambling market, or when we launch a new feature with jurisdictional implications. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

8. Questions

If you believe a feature is incorrectly restricted in your location, email legal@gamb8.com with your country and the feature in question. Do not route around blocks with a VPN.
