Payout Truth Draw Terms

1. Who Can Enter

You must be of legal gambling age in the place you live, and using GAMB·8 must be lawful where you are. See Restricted Territories. You confirm both when you submit a report.

Staff, contractors and anyone who can approve reports are excluded from winning. They can still submit reports, because the data is useful; they are simply not eligible for the prize.

We do not verify age or location documents for a draw this size. If it turns out you were not eligible, the entry is void and we will draw again rather than pay it.

2. How an Entry Is Earned

One entry per verified payout report. A report is verified when a moderator opens your screenshot and confirms it shows the amount and date you claimed. Reports without a screenshot are still useful to us and still counted in our published figures, but they earn no entry, because there is nothing to check.

• Every entry has the same weight. One verified report, one entry.
• The size of your bonus changes nothing. A $5 report and a $5,000 report are worth exactly the same. This is deliberate and it is the most important rule here: if a bigger or stranger number won more often, we would be paying people to invent numbers, and the dataset would be worthless.
• One report per bonus period. One weekly boost per week, one monthly bonus per month, per casino, per account.
• Re-used or altered screenshots are rejected. We hash every image and flag duplicates automatically.

If moderation is slow and your report is verified after the week closes, your entry rolls into the next open draw. It is never lost because we were late.

3. The Draw Week

Each draw runs Monday 00:00 UTC to the following Monday 00:00 UTC. Entries close at the end of that window and the draw happens after it closes.

If a week has no entries, there is no winner and no rollover of the prize. The week simply has no draw.

4. How the Winner Is Picked

The draw is committed in advance and verifiable afterwards, so you do not have to take our word for the result. It works like this:

• Before the week closes we generate a secret random salt, publish the SHA-256 hash of it, and keep the salt itself private. The hash is the commitment: it fixes the outcome before anyone knows what it is.
• At draw time we publish the salt. Anyone can hash it and check it matches the hash we published earlier. If it does not match, the draw is invalid.
• The winner is then pure arithmetic. Entries are ordered by their id. We hash the salt together with the draw's id, read the result as a number between 0 and 1, multiply by the total entry weight, and walk the entries until that point is crossed.

The same entries and the same salt always give the same winner, for anyone, forever. We cannot pick the salt after seeing the entries, because the hash was published first, and we cannot change the entries after the fact, because they are listed publicly with the result. Every draw, its commitment hash, its revealed salt and its winner are published on the public draw ledger.

5. The Prize

Roughly $20 in crypto (USDC or LTC), or a gift card of similar value if you would rather. Where we pay in crypto we publish the transaction hash on the ledger, so the payment is checkable too.

It is a thank-you for data, not an inducement to gamble. We will not pay a prize into a gambling account, and we do not offer casino credit, bonuses, or anything redeemable at an operator.

There is no cash alternative beyond the above and no negotiation on value. If we cannot reach you, or you do not respond within 30 days of being contacted, the prize is forfeit and we redraw.

6. Getting Paid

We contact the winner using the details on their account. Before paying we will confirm your email address, and we may ask for a wallet address or a gift-card region. We will never ask for a password, a seed phrase, or access to a casino account, and nobody from GAMB·8 will message you first on any other platform asking for those. Treat anyone who does as a scammer.

Winners are published by username only. If you would rather not be named, tell us and we will still pay you.

You are responsible for any tax due where you live.

7. Your Screenshot and Your Data

Crop before you upload. Remove your username, email, account id and balances. We ask you to confirm you have, and a moderator checks again before your report is accepted. We only need the bonus amount and the date.

• Who sees it: moderators, through a staff-only page. Screenshots are not public and are never served from a public URL.
• What becomes public: aggregates only. Medians and quartiles, and only once a group has at least eight reports in it. Your individual amount is never published as a row, because what a person won or lost gambling is their business.
• What we keep: the amount, the date, the bonus period, the calculator inputs you had on screen, and your screenshot. We keep reports for as long as the calibration is useful, because the whole point is that the numbers stay checkable.
• Deleting your account removes your name from your reports but keeps the anonymous figures, for the same reason. Ask us and we will delete a specific report and its screenshot outright.

8. Rejections, and What We Will Not Do

We reject a report if the screenshot does not show what was claimed, if it is re-used or edited, or if it still contains personal details we asked you to crop. A rejection is about the evidence, not an accusation.

We will never reject a report for being surprising. A payout far below what our calculator predicted is the most valuable thing you can send us, and it is the one we most want published. If our estimate is wrong, we would rather find out from you than keep being wrong quietly.

9. Changes, and Who Runs This

The draw is run by GAMB·8 (see Company Details). We may change these terms or stop running the draw, but not retroactively: entries already earned under the rules above stay valid, and a draw that has already been committed will be completed.
