What a range of nonces can and cannot tell you

What it tests

Every nonce in the range is recomputed from the revealed server seed with Stake.us's published mapping for Mines. The distribution is compared with the curve that mapping implies, and a chi-squared test says whether the sample sits where a fair seed would. Streaks are measured, not interpreted.

What it cannot do

It cannot see the next bet. The server seed is secret until you rotate it, so nothing here predicts a future result. A "fair" verdict says the past sample matches the published curve; a "not fair" verdict at small samples is usually noise, and at large samples is worth a support ticket with the seeds attached.

The bet simulation

Prices a fixed bet against every nonce at Stake.us's cited 1.00% edge and reports P&L, expected P&L, drawdown and streaks. Expected P&L is the edge times the amount wagered: what the strategy loses on average, not a forecast.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a fair verdict mean the casino is honest?

It means this sample of results matches the distribution the published mapping implies. It says nothing about the house edge, the payout tables or anything outside the seeds.

Can I use this to find a good seed?

No. Past results from a revealed seed say nothing about a new seed pair, and the current server seed is hidden until you rotate it. There is nothing to find.

How many rounds should I run on Stake.us?

At least a thousand for the chi-squared test to mean much; the page runs up to 10,000 in your browser. Small samples produce wide swings that look alarming and are not.

Do my seeds leave the browser?

No. Every nonce is recomputed locally with the Web Crypto API. Nothing is uploaded.
