Break-even

Buck
sportsBettor slang for a $100 wager. Part of the same shorthand as nickel ($500) and dime ($1,000), used so stake sizes can be said aloud without naming the figure.
Burn Card
casinoA card discarded from the top of the deck before dealing begins. Used to prevent any player from seeing the top card.
Bust
casinoIn blackjack, going over 21 and automatically losing your hand. Also used generally to mean losing your entire bankroll.

Buy-in
